Oneplus joins the new trend which has been seen throughout 2017 by getting rid of its display bezels. However Oneplus is still keeping its headphone jack in its new Oneplus 5T. This new model is just slightly bigger than Oneplus 5. Its dual camera system has also been worked upon in its latest model making the secondary camera a dedicated lowlights shooter with an appealing design of the original Oneplus 5. The main difference between Oneplus 5 and Oneplus 5T is that the latest version has eliminated the bezel display.

Since display is a major focus here as it is the key difference between Oneplus 5 and 5T, let's learn more about the new display. The pixel density of this phone is 401 PPI ensuring sharp and clear images. This phone provides a wide range of color calibration options and people can set the color as per their taste. It comes with an elongated shape which has been popularly started in 2017 with Samsung Galaxy S8. Ergonomic wise this phone is just the same as Oneplus 5. However the fingerprint sensor is at the rear rather than front but it is still very quick to respond. Another feature added by Oneplus is a new face unlocking feature which lets you access your phone while it is still sitting on a surface. The face unlock feature uses the front facing camera and it is much simpler than the Apple face ID. This feature works with surprising accuracy and is quick to respond as well.

The display has been made by Samsung which is impressive with high color reproduction, sharpness, and viewing angles. The phone has used ceramic in order to cover the scanner of the fingerprint which is flawlessly matching with the black color of the aluminum of the phone's rear body. There is one new feature which allows you to clone an app have multiple instances of it running. For instance you can have multiple WhatsApp account or Twitter account. The only disappointment in Oneplus 5T is its software. The phone still runs on Android 7.1 and has not yet got Android 8 Oreo.
