Nordstrom, Inc. Declared Opening of Full-Line Store in Greater Houston Area

Nordstrom Inc. has taken its store a step forward, said an analyst report JWN on Friday. It is a full-line store situated in the greater Houston area.
Initially located in Texas at The Woodlands Mall in The Woodlands, the opening of Nordstrom in Houston marks its second full-line store after The Galleria store, opened in 2003. The new store introduces the latest exterior and interior design concepts, along with wood finishes, interiors integrating natural light and other modern updates.
The store has a comprehensive area for cosmetics and accessories for men, women, and children along with 138,000 square feet, two-level store featuring a bistro-style restaurant named Bazille, five shoe departments, and an espresso bar.
Some of the popular brands available at the store include Elizabeth & James, Alexander Wang, Smashbox, Trish McEvoy, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Chanel, La Mer, Helmut Lang, Butter London, Vince Camuto, Jo Malone and many more.
The store also offers certain services such as certified bra and prosthesis fitters, in-store tailor shop and alterations, Personal Stylist, complimentary gift boxes and complimentary wardrobe and related shopping service.
Bazille offers two food options, a full-service bistro-style restaurant and Ebar that offers grab-and-go food options, and handcrafted coffee drinks which further enhances the shopping experience for people visiting the store.
The opening of the store took place in a royal style with a Beauty Bash held at the first floor of the entrance of the mall. The bash gave customers the opportunity to try new beauty brands, products and trends while enjoying the privilege of interacting with Nordstrom’s beauty experts and learning various beauty tips and tricks from them.
Around 350 employees at the store gave a warm welcome to the first customers visiting the store.
Since the openings of Rack store, Nordstrom’s focus on the store expansion has stayed evident from the beginning of the fiscal 2014. The company is committed toward building firm network with an aim of stirring state-of-the-art growth.
In the first half of the fiscal year 2014, the total count came to 271 from 248 with around 11 new Rack stores. The company further plans to expand the store by opening 16 stores in the remaining period.
