Revolut, a Fintech Startup, is launching a new premium metal card to users who need to subscribe for the company. Along with the metal card, the company is reportedly providing several attractive perks compared to Revolut Premium.
More Details on the Revolut Metal Card Launch
Apart from the new card and existing premium benefits, users can claim cash back on spending carried out through the currency of their choice. These might be Euros, U.S. Dollars, Pounds, and even flat currencies and few cryptocurrencies. However, users will receive only about 0.1% in Europe with comparison to the amount spent. For example, if a user spends €1000, the person will only receive €1 in the form of cashback. But, even if the user travels outside Europe, the person can receive about 1 percent in cashback in the other regions.
Customers of this card also receive higher ATM limit and can withdraw about €600/£600 without any fee. In comparison, premium users can only withdraw up to €400/£400 for free. Moreover, the metal card users can access a concierge service to book hotels, flights, and restaurants too, thus providing a feature that helps customers feel like a king.
Revolut Metal costs €13.99 per month or €135 per year, which is £12.99 per month or £120 per year, respectively. The basic premium subscription costs €7.99 per month or €82 per year, which is £6.99 per month or £70 per year, accordingly. The card mainly has a brushed metal look, a small Revolut logo in the top right corner, and the users’ name in the bottom left corner. The card is said to works through contactless card readers.
From an overall perspective, this card certainly is a definite investment, especially for those who want to maintain a classy and sophisticated lifestyle. Revolut is the second company after N26 to launch a metal card.

So it’s clear that Revolut is targeting people who want to look cool with a metal card. It has a brushed metal look, a tiny Revolut logo in the top right corner and your name in the bottom left corner. It works with contactless card readers.
Revolut is following N26’s path and becomes the second challenger bank that offers a metal card. But the two companies have a different approach. Revolut’s card is slightly cheaper, and N26 focuses on partner offerings from WeWork, Hotels.com or Drivy.
Revolut sent an email yesterday saying that Metal is currently limited to existing Premium subscribers. The company only has 10,000 cards for now, so it could take a bit of time before you get your card.
