Today, Microsoft opened its treasure box full of new announcements, which are expected to not only shake up the gaming world, but also create a new benchmark for new releases. And that’s not just 10 or 15 titles, but a whopping 50 titles announced to be launched soon by the tech giant.
Intense Stuff to Excite Gamers and Others Alike
At the press conference today, the enterprise definitely wanted to give out a big show, and they definitely did, thus succeeding on that front. Of course all 50 titles won’t be covered here, but the following pointers shed some light on the major ones.
A much awaited release, the event started off with a brief teaser trailer of the popular first person shooter series, called Halo. Not much information has been revealed about the latest version called Halo Infinite. Rather those who are highly awaiting to play this game only want to know two aspects for now - the date of release and story specifics. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, has promised exceptional gameplay for Halo Infinite.
Forza Horizon 4
With the acquisition of Playground Games, Microsoft announced the release of Forza Horizon. And among all other games, this one has received a lot of attention. The recent release will feature a UK countryside, and will also depict changing of seasons in the gameplay. More than 450 cards will be available in the game, and it will be launched on 2nd October.
Devil May Cry 5
It has been almost a decade since the last Devil May Cry hit Xbox 360, and hence Microsoft decided to come out with its sequel. This game is being directed by famous designer Hideaki Itsuno, and will be released in spring.
The line does not end here, as the other releases are as good as the ones described above. Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Crackdown 3, Kingdom Hearts III, and Gears 5 are few other releases lined up by Microsoft.
