Ericsson to stretch three-year renewal for Warid Telecom

Pakistan based Warid Telecom and Ericsson announced the renewal of their service agreement during the Mobile World Congress, recently help in Barcelona, Spain. As per the renewal of services, Warid Telecom will have a privilege to numerous benefits such as improvement in the network, efficient field service, optimized user experience, and first and second line support.
The Chairman Board Executive Committee of Warid Telecom, Adeel Bajwa stated that considering the decade long history with Ericsson, they now understand the requirement of Warid in terms of growth and development needs. He further added that Warid launched its LTE services in the country a year before commercially and provided high quality services to the customers, thanks to the services provided by Ericsson.
Adeel Bajwa informed that in a recently published industry report, Warid was declared to be the best on the basis of consumer experience and the quality of services they provided. The company aims to continue with the same zeal in 2015 and want to get recognized again.
On this the Ericsson President Region East Africa and Middle East, Rafiah Ibrahim stated that their decade-long partnership with Warid Telecom has achieved substantial milestones in the area of services throughout the years. He added that Ericsson will continue to provide services through the extended partnership and will aim in allowing Warid Telecom customers to enjoy different network performances. Due to which both the companies can enjoy end-user experience and enhance the networked society in Pakistan.
