Shoppers Stop Entering into Partnership with Snapdeal to Provide Customers Shoppers Stop Experience in Online Marketplace

One of the biggest brands in fashion industry, Shoppers Stop, has entered into a strategic partnership with the e-commerce major, Snapdeal. The deal has been done with a target to provide consumers a Shoppers Stop experience in the online marketplace. This partnership is aimed to create an omni-channel shopping experience for consumers across India. Snapdeal will ensure the maintenance of the brand’s image, while promoting it in the meantime.

In a joint release, the store and the online shopping platform stated that customers can pick up their orders or can get those delivered at their places from the nearest Shoppers Stop stores. As a pilot project, Shoppers Stop and Snapdeal will be launching it in North India, at first. Afterwards, they will extend it to other regions of India in the next one year, it added. In addition to this, consumers can also return or exchange the products purchased from Shoppers Stop on Snapdeal at any Shoppers Stop store across 35 cities in the country.

In the statement, the companies further said that by bringing together the best of online and offline retail experience to customers, they are confident of delivering significant value to customers across the nation.

The Co-founder and the CEO of Snapdeal, Mr. Kunal Bahl said that they will provide their robust presence across 5,000 towns and cities to expand the reach of Shoppers Stop further by adding newer regions of the country.

Mr. Govind Shrikhande, the Managing Director and the Customer Care Associate of Shoppers Stop, has said that they are planning to introduce various unique features like 'Ship from Store' and 'Click & Collect', in the next phase. In a whole, this partnership of Shoppers Stop with Snapdeal is expected to boost the growth of their omni-channel business significantly, added Mr. Shrikhande.
