Nikon Designs its Nikon D810A Camera for Astrophotographers

Nikon India launched a D-SLR, Nikon D810A, a camera that is especially designed for astrophotographers. The D-SLR has the power to capture astronomical wonders that exude the brilliance of H-alpha wavelengths of light such as galaxies and nebulae. This innovation will allow photographers to see astronomical treasures in ways that seemed impossible earlier. The camera has the ability to take pictures in the lowest possible lighting with minimal noise. Additionally, it also gives the photographer a chance to see a live preview of the shot to plan it perfectly. With a 36.3 megapixels, the camera sure allows the photographer to take high definition pictures of celestial bodies.

Managing Director at Nikon India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Hiroshi Takashina stated the company has always strived for finding solutions to the challenge of astrophotographers. Thus, the new Nikon D810A is an answer and a way of enabling astrophotographers to take beautiful pictures of unprecedented quality. He was happy to launch this model that will bring photographers closer to capturing sheer beauty of space with a view that has never been seen before.

Mr. Sajjan Kumar, Vice President of Imaging Division at Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. further added that Nikon D810A provides a solution to all the obstacles most astrophotographers face. It amalgamates high-class imaging technology and outstanding features. The camera has been scheduled to make an entry in the Indian market by later May 2015. With this camera astrographers will be able to document the rare events with better quality for future research.
