Loftex China Obtains Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification

Loftex China Ltd., one of the biggest towel products manufacturer and exporters in China, can now mark 'Made in Green' Oeko-Tex label on some of its selected towel products.

In a press release, Oeko-Tex stated that this mark indicates that these towel products have successfully cleared a test for harmful substances according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The company has also been certified with STeP by Oeko-Tex after its demonstration of the production of these textiles in an eco-friendly setup, it added.

According to Oeko-Tex, the Germany-based textiles certifying firm, many high-quality towels have been certified since 2002 in line with the standards (Oeko-Tex Standard 100) setup by the firm. Loftex China Ltd. got the approval in 2014 and was one of the initial Chinese companies to register for the certification of their manufacturing facilities by Oeko-Tex.

Loftex China Ltd. is an upright and professional towel producer and supplier in China. It has 5 facilities and has employed a workforce of 2,700 people for various procedures of towel manufacturing such as weaving, blenching, printing, coloring, and finishing.

Walmart, Macy's, Target, J.C. Penney, Disney, Kohl's, Marks & Spencer, Asda, H&M, and Aldi are some of key clients of Loftex China. The firm has also obtained several certifications in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and BSCI, stated Oeko-Tex in the press release
