Camesa - a WireCo WorldGroup brand has announced its new product called EcoSeal which happens to be the new environment-friendly wireline for the oil & gas industry. This product is showcased at the 2014 Global Petroleum Show in Canada.
This new cable rejects the need for grease injection systems and fastens up the rig-up time at the wellsite. It features a double-seal technology with an inner sleeve and a specially designed outer jacket that helps to reduce the need for any added equipment, and in turn providing cleaner and hassle-free jobsite.
Dustin Dunning, the Camesa’s sales manager believes in this product and says the new product will be a good challenge in the oil and gas industry. After more than a year of design work and research by the company’s engineering staff, field and trial testing, and quality control, the company has invented a promising product that offers good speed and cleaner and efficient cable solutions in the wireline.
By using Camesa’s EcoSeal wireline, operators working with this product no longer require additional grease pumps to inject grease into the pressure control equipment. Hence, in this manner a cleaner and safer working environment is created. Additionally, the flow tubes and extended lubricators can be exempted, helping to reduce operation’s footprint.
Technicians can now achieve higher running speeds with EcoSeal’s smooth technology that too without the loss of pressure control. Also, the dual polymer coating eliminates common cable problems, including loose armor wires and bird-caging.
