Customers are increasingly demanding lesser serving and ordering time across the fast food outlets. As a result, companies are taking help of wireless technologies.

IoT Platform and Wireless Connectivity to Revolutionize Fast Food Industry

In the fast food industry, the players are increasingly depending on digital logbook and wireless technologies. Technology is playing a pivotal role in the growth of the fast food chains. Various technology firms are introducing innovative technologies for faster operations across the fast food outlets and restaurants. Telecommunication companies are tying up with the technology firms to provide solutions for restaurant management. Recently AT&T, the U.S.-based multinational telecommunications corporation, has partnered with Squadle to offer connectivity for Squadle Checklists, a solution for streamlining restaurant operations. With the help of AT&T Control Center, clients will be able to monitor a range of operations including the temperature of the refrigerated food as well as the progress of employees on a day-to-day basis.

Industry experts have pointed out that Internet of Things or IoT platforms would revolutionize the growth of the fast food industry. According to Le Zhang, the CEO and founder of Squadle, a majority of fast food restaurants are run on paper. The connected solution offered by Squadle will replace this outdated method with the help of wireless connectivity and IoT platform.
